The system used to handle defects (DMS) or test cases (TMS) may also be an customer-developed application.

In order for RapidRep to handle the TMS/ DMS , the development requires a data model fulfulling some specific criteria (tables, relations) and must be accessible via JDBC.

There are only a fiew requirements for the data model. E.g. there has to be atable for test cases, defects, test executions and a table that associates test execution and defects.

The names of these tables, as well as its column names, can be assigned arbitrary and have to be used when setting up the configuration within RapidRep.

An MS Access Database is delivered with RapidRep to demonstrate this features within a simple example.
