The connection between RapidRep and a Defect Managements or Test Management System is established via a system specific Connector.

The 3rd Party Test Connectors have the following tasks:

• Displaying test cases stored externally in the RapidRep Runner
• Execution of test cases and analysis of test case results
• Providing the status of the test case execution to the test management system; this includes the whole Excel workbook (test proof)
• Creation of defects in the external defect management system

All test connectors are freely configurable within the RapidRep Runner and may also contain project specific columns created in the external test management system.

The RapidRep Batch API supports the communication between RapidRep and the test management system.
